the re-opening & the launching of DURGA TATTOO & GALLERY will be a small gathering for old clients & new clients from all over the place during 2006 until recent days, for other fellow tattoo artists, creative workers from fine arts to media/commercial arts and for the public who put interest in traditional tattoo or custom tattoo.
DURGA TATTOO STUDIO specializing in traditional handtapping tattoo and machine tattooing established since 2009. It started in Jakarta as the first location until then moved to Yogyakarta in 2014. In 2016 Aman Manai Durga Sipatiti relocated to lived and worked in Berlin - Germany until 2022. In the same year moved back to Indonesia and opened in earlier studio location in Sleman- Yogyakarta.
During his profession as traditional tattoo artist since 2007 he had done about more than 70 International tattoo conventions/festivals allover Europe, Australia and USA, more than 20 independent- including major/commercial events in Indonesia.
He has been doing his personal research about Mentawai tattoo and Borneo tattoo since 2009 until today.
This event which is going to be held a day before Indonesian Independence day will supported by good friends of us who will sell some foods, snacks & drinks.
An acoustic band will play in the afternoon, traditional Borneo dance will be showed and Borneo traditional Sape music will be played in the garden. A family, children friendly and natural atmosphere.
