“The Cost of Things”
is rarely the price written on a tag. More often, it is measured in time, patience, uncertainty, and the countless ordinary days that no one sees. We tend to value things by what they cost to buy, while forgetting what they cost to become. Perhaps the most valuable things in our lives are not those that arrived easily, but those that quietly transformed us along the way. The road was never separate from the blessing; it was the blessing.
